What We Do Before We Align Your Vehicle
- Ask you, the customer, what problems you are experiencing.
- Protect your vehicle by covering the seats and floor.
- Perform pre-trip inspection (CDL Pre-Trip)
- Road test to check for noise, pull and/or vibration.
- Check air pressure, wear patterns, tread depth and wheel lug and rim condition. Check for matching steer tires.
- Inspect all front steering components, including king pins, ball joints, shackle pins, bushings, shock absorbers, tie rod ends, drag link, steering gearbox, shaft and u-joint.
- Inspect frame for loose or missing bolts, cracks or other damaged or worn conditions.
- Inspect front and rear suspension including springs, hangers, torque arms and drive-line components
- Mount wheel sensors and check readings.
- Check all angles of wheel geometry and vehicle ride height.
- Discuss vehicle condition with you before proceeding.
- Once the alignment is compete, road test again.
